A collaboration of minds, movement and media, Flock seeks to create engaging, visually exciting works that blur the boundaries between design, interaction, play and performance. Flock was co-founded by dance artists and choreographers Lizzie Prince and Rosie Taylor, who met while studying Dance at Middlesex University. Inspired by a shared love of choreography and visual art, they established Flock in 2007.

Rather than work with a set company of dancers, Lizzie and Rosie work as choreographers and collaborate with a broad spectrum of artists, performers and art forms. Their collaborative approach enables them to work with a wide range of creatives, from musicians, photographers and artists to filmmakers and animators.

Flock have developed a unique aesthetic, grounded in contemporary technique but with a distinctly playful and gestural nature. The movement often explores the sensory experience of the environment it exists in and has been described as architectural and lyrical in its form. Performed in a range of increasingly varied and unusual spaces, their work succeeds in bringing dance to wider and more diverse audiences.
